My husband and I read the articles you provided links for. He is now in the other room ranting about how the Netherlands is doomed. When we lived there, we were aware of the Morrocans and radical Turks and were warned to stay away from certain parts of Amsterdam, and we did have that encounter with the pickpoctets who stole all our documents including our passports and birth certificates. We went to the police, my husband identified one of them, but nothing was done. Unfortunatly, it sounds like things have really deteriorated in the past 6 years since we lived there. A lot of Dutch people were proud of their "successful" multicultural society, but we had bad feelings about it because of the crimes commited by these people, and the way they wanted to change Dutch society.

It's unbelievable how they move to Holland to take advantage of the generous social system, yet they speak of how evil Holland is and how it must change to suit their religion. I truly believe they have a different psychology, sort of like the difference between a poodle and a pit bull. It is very disturbing to hear about this.

It went bad allright.

I don't know if you saw the local and national elections, but the opposition and new parties won big. The parties governing Holland for the last decade lost big time.

The Moroccan-hugging PvdA (socialists) lost half their voters (falling from 45 seats to just 23!), just like the D'66 (left-liberals). The VVD (right-liberals) lost a lot of voters to.

The anti-immigration party from Pim Fortuyn and the conservative CDA got all these voters because they promised to do something about the unsafety and they are opposed to the multicultural society, next to lessening immigration.
