Yes, samtheman, but blacks would say that "you can say that because you are NOT black." Being black is becoming an avocation, if not a profession, for many "African Americans." I suspect that many African Americans would have trouble finding Africa on a map, considering the kind of "teaching" going on in today's "schools." In time, I think this reparations idea will gain support. I foresee the day in 10 years when leading Republicans will come out for reparations they way Strom Thurmond and Howard Baker did for DC statehood in 1978 and the way many did (not Jesse Helms) for the MLK Holiday bill in 1983.

I predict that if the PC liberals ever force reparations into law, there will be an armed uprising in the land.
