I agree. For a modern lit class, I had to read Salman Rushdie's book Satanic Verses (A very good and funny book, btw.) which earned him the fatwah/death sentence. By the time I finished the book and the outside reading, I came to a similar conclusion, only I don't think it was a hijacking.
I can't help but think that there is a Book of Revelations level showdown coming. And maybe in my lifetime. Looks like it's all part of The Plan. Certainly, these are interesting times!
