We were on vacation on the Oregon Coast when 9/11 happened. We cancelled our vacation to drive home.
The Oregon Coastal 101 south is not a great place to get clear radio news more than a few miles at a time. When we got to Brookings, Or,, we decided to spend the night. As I'm unloading what was needed for the night from our SUV, my wife turned on the news. There was no Fox News, the only news channel available at that time was CNN.
I looked at the tired old faces of the Clintoon's wh$res on Clintoon News Nothing. I turned off the tv and told the wife it was time to go to dinner. The last thing I wanted was to hear what the Clintoon Wh$res had to say about anything let along the disaster that had just happened. She agreed, and we waited for the real news when we got back home to get on Free Republic.
