They ARE around every corner. The spirit world is very active, especially these days. My opinion is that government is linked into the demonic and that's why we need to pray for our president and his family and staff. They are under much oppression from the enemy (satan and his congress!). We should have been praying more for Clinton when he was president. Perhaps that's why we had him for two terms! We needed to pray for him. I'm as guilty as anyone on that score. Hard to pray for someone you despise so, but isn't that what we're supposed to do, pray for those who despitefully use you? There's an active war going on in the heavenlies for the soul of America (as well as for our individual souls). God wants us to change from our wicked ways and turn back to Him. satan will do everything in his power to prevent us from doing that. It's time we recognized the enemy!
