Certainly not the government's, but some folks seem to be pushing hard for that.I don't think that the Government can effectively stop people from smoking. I just think that it's going to be harder for the tobacco industry to get new recruits in the future. I really don't know how I would go about trying to talk a nonsmoker into becoming a smoker. Seems like a tough sell to me.

The lure of the forbidden will always hold its appeal for a large segment of society, young or old. Societies have decreed the death penalty in the past for tobacco smoking and possesion, yet here we are. Propaganda will only work on those willing to gobble the oily goo of orthodoxy, there's always a heterodox minority. Bring it on...

Ned, have you ever heard of "free will?" Do you have a problem with that term? It's a basic part of another word which is spelled with an "f" and a "r", a couple of "e's" followed by what many liberals are called "dom."
