I agree with Chomsky. Too many Americans have severe cases of "my child can do no wrong" syndrome when it comes to their home. The good we've done does not negate the bad, and we should not be suprised when what goes around comes around.

Finding a peanut in a pile of crap does not make it a meal.

Finding a kernel of possible truth in the ravings of Mr. Chomsky does not validate his view that America is a "terrorist" nation. His is the same kind of pseudo-intellectual logic which proposes that the police are as evil as the Mafia, the Israelis defending themselves equates with attacks directed at non-combatants, and the USA and Soviet Union were moral equals during the Cold War (a few million gulag internees would disagree).

He and his mutterings are utter garbage.
