Criticizing Bush is a vote for Hillary or Gore in 2004.
That's good. Voting Libertarian is the best way to reform the Republican party.
What a short memory you have, I guess pulling out the global court will accelerate globalism.
Of course your problem may not be a short memory but a small brain.
We hear a lot from some people here how Bush must move to the middle to get re-elected and that politicians only do what the people want.
There is some validity in that, but it overlooks the need to maintain the loyalty of the 'hard-core'. I think more and more conservatives will just sit the next one out if things continue in this same direction (unless the opponent is Hillary! which would get us out no matter what).
I do not think that a few 'culturally conservative' jestures will be enough to get a lot of people back with interest.

"Listen, here's my view: I think it's time to get all of this business behind us. Yeah, well if he gets any smaller share of the vote than last time he's a goner. Watch him, Tom. "But he can win and still push the conservative agenda. We don't have to win at any price. We can win at a smaller price."
It's more likely that he can win only by pushing the conservative agenda. If he doesn't get cracking, him and Congress too, the fall elections are going to finish the GOP in Congress. Bush has been caving in and calling it winning. That only fools a handful of koolaid drinkers who want to be fooled.
Dear God, why are Bush lovers allowed to whine like howler monkeys because a few copy and paste jobs of well-researched links smash the myth of their hero?
It looks more to me like "a vote for Bush is a vote for Hillary and Gore". Vote for Bush, get Kennedy's wish list for education enacted as law in the interest of "bipartisanship".

Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. The way things are going, there may not be another election. It is better to hold to truth and let the chips fall where they may.
Well said! Bush has probably already lost the conservative base, and will express astonishment at the Democrat gains in November.
