Yeah, Savage Beast. Never said YOU were addicted to porn! Societies must always make a judgment about harmful things. We've made the judgment that highly addictive narcotics should be outlawed, whereas things like alcohol and smoking (though they cause tragic situations for many) are not SO damaging as to outlaw them. You might be able to control a heroin habit perfectly well, but society's judgment is that the harm to society outweighs an individual's liberty to shoot himself up with heroin. On porn, we've made the decision that not so harmful as to outlaw. But like with alcohol, smoking, pre-marital sex and so forth, we would be remiss as a society if we didn't honestly point out some of the downsides of these habits(especially to our young). The same holds true with porn.

You're right, Yen. (But as for that heroin habit--no, man; I couldn't handle it. Creeps me out just to think about it.) BTW, I'm no crusader for pornography; I don't even like it. And you're right, society certainly does need to control some things. Stay happy! --SB
