I doubt the arab groups would have much pull if Alan were bringing in the cash for the ad spots. Keyes gets the average viewership for any of MSNBC's shows. It looks like they thought he would wave a magic wand and bring in all the FOX News viewers overnight. It looks like they're showing their characteristic impatience, as CNN predicted would happen at the start of Keyes' show.

Actually, Keyes could have stayed in another time slot, but he declined that offer.

His show is good, but not great. I watch it maybe once a week....probably less. I prefer his writings.
