yeah, there is always a lot of "what ifs " and "too bads" in these kinds of cases...

Could this abduction really have been a much bigger operation than what we think? It sounds reasonable that it might have taken more than one person to do this...
how could a perp lead a person out to the car, with a gun, and one hand on the victim,, get her into the car without causing any suspicion....seems like a second person drove the car up there, and waited to help get her in ...just a thought...
And an excellent thought it is. Two or more perps would change the nature of t his investigation, They might be asking for huge ransom, not disclosed by the police, or they might have even worse plans for the girl. My mind refuses to go there. Prayers for Elizabeth Smart.
