IMHO, Starbucks is over priced and pretentious.
I'll stick to my greek diner el-cheapo special.

When I started reading this, I darned near fell out of my CHAIR! I cannot LIVE without coffee. Mass quantities of coffee. I don't and never have bought Caribou coffee...never heard of it in fact. So I guess I can finish drinking this cup of coffee beside me, guilt free.

"Starbucks is over priced and pretentious."Not to mention that the coffee at my local Starbucks is HORRIBLE.

If you drink coffee you are supporting terrorism. :-)I thought if you did DRUGS you were supporting terrorism. If drinking coffee is supporting terrorism, then I guess I better haul my butt to an Al Qaeda recruiting center.

Hey, that's great that you have a cheap-o Greek diner that gives a cup of coffee you can enjoy. I prefer a good capuccino, myself. Coffee is overpriced nearly everywhere. But Starbuck is the only cafe they gives me a consistently good cup of coffee every day. I used to stay away from it for years, thinking it was too yuppie and snooty. I always went to Java City, which always attracted a more bohemian crowd. But their coffee cost no less than Starbucks, their employees were not very friendly, and Java City coffee tasted like swill. I just really like to enjoy the coffee I drink. Also, Starbucks employees are almost always very friendly. They have high customer service and quality standards. And it also gives me added pleasure to know that, while I'm savoring every drop of my cup of Starbuck's coffee, I'm indirectly supporting Israel. Oh, yeah, and because it is part of my work morning, I also have the added pleasure of deducting it from my taxes!! :oD

From the article:
Why spend money with a company whose key advisor supports terrorism, and approves of terrorism? To Al-Qaradawi, spilling of innocent bloodnot drinking coffeeis good to the last drop.

Until last week, when a damaging e-mail made its way around the Internet, First Islamics website featured a Shariah Supervisory Board, listing its chairman as Dr. Yusuf Abdullah Al-Qaradawi, Chairman, Seerah & Sunnah Center, Qatar University; Professor, Faculty of Shariah, Qatar University. The beauty of the Internet is that, even though First Islamic does not want you to read this, the page can still be accessed because it has been cached by the Google.com search engine. Anyone got that cached article?
I've heard of Google removing it's cached pages before in response to threats.
