Yeah, but movies carry a message in them.

I thought the same Civil War analogies on seeing the movie. Anyone who watches Lucas can see he is really into analogy and so many of his scenes are reticent of other great movies. (I love playing spot the other famous movie scene in his Star War movies). Even his character and planet names contain all kinds of hints. But I also see a strong liberalism running through his movies (armies and weapons =bad; talking and United Nations= good).
What the heck it was a great movie- I really liked it. And the art direction and costumes of Natalie Portman were stunning - really enjoyable on their own level. But if she was trying so hard not to seduce Anakin, why did she wear less and less clothes every scene? The last one her breasts practically popped out of.

movies carry a message.Absolutely correct.
And the message in STAR WARS is "it's in the blood," referring to the young Anakin.
Are we all children of God, or is Lucas and his Lightsabers saying some of us are superior because of something inherently purer in the blood?
And where have we heard that before?
