This may help. I can't remember my Florida geography and I'm too lazy (and sleepy) to look so I included them all. Now, does anyone know where McVeigh was on these dates?

LITTLE OUTRAGE HEARD; UNTIL TOURIST IS KILLED
GARY STEIN; Staff Columnist
Another dandy South Florida event is on tap this weekend, taking place at Fort Lauderdale's War Memorial Auditorium.
Yessir, we're talking gun show. BIG gun show. Big enough to make the marquee at the War Memorial.
Buy guns. Rifles. Pistols. You name it. Perhaps 4,000 people will attend.

Every time Gil Lewis hears about a fatal shooting, he cringes, knowing that people will blame guns. But Lewis distances himself and fellow dealers at this weekend's gun show from those incidents.
"We're not that kind of people. We're historians. We're keepers of the future," Lewis said. Lewis, 62, of West Palm Beach, is the promoter of the gun show at the West Palm Beach Auditorium. CRIME HELPS PACK GUN, KNIFE SHOW
LANE KELLEY; Staff Writer
Hunters, gun collectors and more than a few people worried by the recent spate of violent crime in South Florida jammed the National Guard Armory on Saturday for the Fort Lauderdale Gun and Knife Show.
The show, which also runs today, featured just about every conceivable kind of firearm, with many of the guns valued only by hunters and collectors.

Skirting the law is simple. You need look only as far as the newspaper classified ads or find an ad for one of the frequent weekend gun shows at local auditoriums. One is going on this weekend at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale.

Disregard that comment. The October 14, 1993 article was about West Palm Beach, and the October 17 article was about Fort Lauderdale.
I was literally falling asleep at the keyboard last night. :-/
