The Mexicans thought they were playing against Americans who didn't have world class football players. They were arrogant and overconfident to the point of hubris. But to be shut by the Yanquis? They must be pinching themselves; either they're living in the wrong timeline or on the wrong planet. In any case, there's nowhere for the U.S to go in this sport but UP!!! GO USA!!!

Yep. I'm just angry at what happened to Cobi Jones and Pablo Mastroeni. Blanco should've been sent off, and I wanted to punch Vidrio out through my TV screen. This game got really nasty, especially toward the end. OTOH, it was nice to see Friedel throw a punch:-) The guy is 6'5" and 230, I think. I'm surprised the Mexican player didn't pass out:-) LOL.
