The JDL says the worst form of antisemitism in America is Christian missionary work: The Quiet Holocaust
I visited this web-site and was really shocked to discover that, in the words of the web-site:
The Supreme Court of Israel has already declared that Jews who believe in Jesus are not eligible for citizenship under the Law of Return Currently, a bill is pending before the Knesset which would outlaw all unsolicited missionary work, including mass mailings ... Israel, being a Jewish state, has the right to assert that its citizens be protected from missionary work.
If a Jew can be an atheist, why can't a Jew believe in Jesus?
Does Israel really discriminate against Christians in this manner?
Is there a serious possibility that free speech rights will be denied to Messianic Jews in Israel?
I favor free speech rights for all Jews everywhere, regardless of their religion.

There were some problems before Y2K with Christian nut-groups who congregated in Israel, waiting for the end of the world, generally making a nuisance of themselves. That did happen, but obviously the world did not come to an end and I think the bunch of them were deported.

I visited this web-site and was really shocked... Every group has its fringe. We just hear about the Christian fringe. And we hear about Christian fringe groups all the time. In fact, the media often tries to portray all Christians as out of the mainstream. That is the reason I posted the JDL link. Here is another even worse example.

States rights still exist and it is not like Barak refused to confederate with a potentialy Christian Palestinian state. You guys really have it up yours. Why do you socialist Christian nationalist hypocrits go to Israel to mandate their laws, yet when Jews go into American politics you are against it. You guys are just like Hillary: don't look in my bedroom, but I certainly can look in yours.

why can't a Jew believe in Jesus? Because if you believe in Jesus, you are a Christian, Not a Jew.

Is a Jew who believes in Jesus a Jew? There is a lot of debate about that. The Israeli Supreme Court has apparantly rendered their decision. It's just politics. Maybe the equivalent of a Roe v Wade type decision. Their obvious agenda being to keep the Jewish state a Jewish state.
It's not like, say, Saudi Arabia or Kuwait, where you can't practice another religion in public, and cannot gain citizenship through immigration at all.
