I did the video thing also with the old family movies ... came out real nice

As for making copies .. if you have 2 VCR's ..you can hook hook them together and make copies that way

Well, we do have two VCRs, so the real cost is going to be, getting all the film onto VHS tape...and now I see where there is a machine out, where you can convert all your VHS tapes to DVDs...sure is easier to store DVDs instead of VHS tapes....technology keeps marching on...
