You know, I have often wondered if one can even still get film for some of those older cameras...I have movie cameras, still cameras of all sorts, light meters, the old slide viewer, the old film projector, a few old tripods, and the screen...

Dad had begun to convert some of his film onto VHS tapes for easier viewing in the VCR...I suppose I should finish the job, tho judging by the amount of movie film we have, it will be quite a job....I should just haul the whole box into someplace that does that kind of thing and let them deal with it...

It will be quite a shock for me to see those films from 40yrs ago, when I was a youngster...I havent seen a lot of those films in many years, so it will be fun, I suspect...

my brother did it
he converted all those old family movies to a video
it is wonderful
he edited it I'm sure
and put in sound
(music)
yes there are places which do that for you
altho a friend of mine had it done
and when they watched it
they saw whole other family they didn't know playing tennis
but unless that kind of thing is your hobby (like my brother's)
let the place do it for you
Love, Palo

lol I looked so cute in mine in that woolen bathing suits they made us wear when I was 2 years old

Hi Mom. Good to see ya. Take them to a pro and let them do the work gets my vote. Although when I took all my folks films in, and then viewed the videos, we had all become left handed in one of the baseball movies. ;-)

Forget the shock of seeing them - think about the sticker shock after having them all converted to VCR. Having them done properly is not an inexpensive venture, so you might want to do them one at a time.
