If you were displaying a flag, it would be much easier to catagorize your attitude. Looking for good in things in your case is a noble jesture, however, finding good where you have, makes me want to remain just a little bit sceptical. I have never been to Riyadh, but I know many, who have lived there, as american christians, working for the Saudi Government, or is it the Royal Family, NOT ONE, has expressed anything like what you are expressing, about the country, the people, the government, the religion, and on and on and on. Our government continuing a policy guaranteed to keep us dependent on the product of a country who's main/only religion demands our destruction, is the height of stupidity IMHO.

Amasing. I see you have posted more than a few pro-Islam pieces. I don't recall you posting pro-Christian pieces. Perhaps you have. I know you sure as hell wouldn't have them posted on a site run by Islamicists. In any event, as an "Unaligned" deist, you sure carry a lot of water for these "people of the book" who have made VIOLENCE the sine qua non of their religion. As an "unaligned deist," you sure like to make common cause with those that fellow Freepers identify as dangerous folks. But, I guess as an "unaligned deist" you know more than any Christian living in this free country.

From the get-go they have spread their faith by violence. That is a simple historical fact.

No doubt, this took place in the United States, not Riyahd, Cairo, Bagdahd, Kabul, etc.

And why didn't it take place in one of these wonderful Islamic places? It didn't because Islam is NOT the peaceful, tolerant system, you have been deluded into thinking it is. Islam has clearly lost its way. The article says it, I say it.

Your breakfast friends enjoy the freedoms of our country, which came about based on Judeo-Christian values, which Muslims take for granted here in the US, but have done virtually nothing as a race, religion or culture to gain and protect.

The widespread failure of American Muslims to oppose ALL forms of terrorism has been noticed.

If Islam is to be respected, then why are the places where Islam (the religion and the government) practiced such unlovely ones? Why are most of them charity cases?
