CNN REPORTING ARRESTED MAN NOT EDMUNDS
To: TJFLSTRAT
I wonder why they haven't released the name of the guy DO have in Texas. After all, he did steal a coule of cars, water and was caught trying to shoplift clothes! You'd think they would say it wasn't Edmunds, but instead xxx xxxxx, who is presently being charged for.....

I think all the CTists have jumped on this thread. LOL! Lots of speculation, and rumors, are to be expected in the absence of facts. The only thing the public needs to know is information that the LEOs feel will help them find Elizabeth, and capture the abductor. It certainly creates an atmosphere of mystery, but that's the way its gotta be.

What are CTists?

I am bookmarking this thread so I can repost these "perfect family" comments after the cops arrest one of the family members. Nothing personal Yeti, I just know that this family is BS-ing the public, and the public is eating it up. Fine by me, so long as you post a mea culpa if the body is found and the truth comes out that the cops were telling the family what to say in the hopes of preventing the perp from snuffing out this rare little candle.
BTW, I didn't say the guys in the family were so great, just the ladies. And specifically, I was talking about Elizabeth.

Posted by me on another thread earlier today:
Why would the family not want a sketch? Two thoughts come to mind. First, the sketch might be of a family member or someone whose involvement would put the family in a bad light. Second, the process of working with the sketch artist might create doubt about the little sister's story. The sketch artist is very experienced in questioning witnesses and drawing them out about what they saw. If there were halting, contradictory, etc. answers to her questions, she might conclude that "this child didn't see anybody or is not being truthful about the person she saw."

I have been trying to follow this but it gets more confusing each day....I just don't know what to think anymore.....I just want to know why they parade all these different family members up to the microphone all day long.
Everyone....put it on CNN....interesting.

I think that is the local Texas authorities talking.

A recommended action on the part of the family to keep the story on everyone's mind as to help in finding their daughter.

Thanks.

I haven't said it yet, and haven't read it yet, but I may as well get my theory out there.
A ransom note has indeed been recieved, along with instructions not to tell the police. The family and the police are trying to keep up the appearance that the police have not yet been informed. Hence the disjointed strategies and suspects that don't match the description.

It is logical to assume the LEOs determined the sister did not see the abductor's face. Using an inaccurate sketch would be extremely counterproductive, introducing misinformation into the investigation.

Are there prints in the house??
To: Semper911
Wow! Thanks! What strange things to say...even the part about believing that the person who took her isn't a bad person. Very weird.
