The governor is a certified moron who is happy to put his election ahead of the country's best interests.

The governor IS a certified moron, I'll give you that. However, let's dump the stuff a few miles from your house in "the country's best interests."

Oh no..no..no..no..

You are just a newbie!!.

This isn't "dumping"!!!

Lets pretend that every state doesn't want munitions, gasoline trucks, poisons, etc transported through it....Wouldn't that be wondeful? It sounds so nice and simplistic and might even get the governor, in this pathetic case, re-eected.......

Of course our standard of living would be like it is in Zare if everone followed this reasoning..

Things like the Governmenor proposes sound wonderful to the wombats who have no idea about nuclear waste treatment or what it takes to sustain a moden society. They just follow some political cheerleader because it sounds good.

No. The Governmeor is bottom line a self serving politician...plain and simple.

A few scattered thoughts on this issue:

I'm glad Hodges signed H 3010 before this thing hits.

I heard a live debate between Peeler and Sanford tonight. They both said Hodges is grandstanding for votes. But I like Peeler's insight into this issue best.

BTW, who says the feds won't fly the plutonium in? They could be driving empty trucks.

If Hodges was sincerely for states rights on this one, I could back him.

IMO, let SC use the fuel if that's possible.

"...... let's dump the stuff a few miles from your house in "the country's best interests."

My duty is not to lead the people for the general wellfare...Hodge's duty is.

If the courts ruled infavor of dumping it ON my house for the welfare of the majority I would be FORCED as an individual to accept it and move. Thats the way Democracy works.

But this Governor is placing his election wellbeing over his duty to the people as widely noted. Big difference! And thats what makes him so discpicable.
