I know EXACTLY how you feel!
My husband loves to cook (that's the good part), but he cooks everything on high heat (bad part).
One day, he was making cream of broccoli soup and when it started to boil violently, it shot green mush ALL OVER the kithen, dripping down the walls and appliances and about an inch deep on the entire floor. It was also all over the 12 foot ceiling! There was no soup left in the pot.
It took me all day to clean the kitchen. Had to have the painters in take care of the ceiling.
We still laugh about it!
Hubby likes to cook as much as I do, so we tend to battle over who's going to do it - but there is rarely an argument about breakfast, as I am not a big breakfast person.
Fortunately when he spilled it this morning - it was only the dry ingredients. Easy to clean up with the broom!!!
