Hi All. TGIF!!! Sorry I haven't been around to help bump this thread! Thanks for all you guys are doing, especially with all the flack you're taking! I personally like the ostrich LOL!

Just thought you might want to know that the local media reports of GW's OSU speech were GLOWING. Interviewed several attendees who originally thought the whole thing was a hassle. After the speech one woman (who didn't vote for him) said she was truly inspired and could listen to it a second time. AND no report of protesters!

Got my state tax refund today and, wink, wink, might consider increasing my pledge if I'm inticed with some cute doggie pics over the weekend....

Rush says that 4% of the population basically does everything (Rush even gives credit to the other 3.9999999999%, hah). In Florida, 1-3% donate blood regularly. Based on Rush's rule, and making allowances for disruptors and name-changers, out of let's say 60,000 Freepers...FR should have around 2400 Freeper donors.

Giving Texans the blood donor benefit, they're just squeaking by with 11 out of 1000 Texans donating, at 1.1%. Perhaps a kind, homebound (and wealthy) individual will chip in for Texas, taking into consideration their most excellent Freep of the envirals at the Evil Big Oil conference recently, and the resulting "hurrah for Capitalism!" write up in CNS News.
