If God wrote the Noah story, and it was only about the Black Sea, why did he say that the whole world was flooded?
Was God just using a literary device? Or was God just uninterested in the Europeans, Chinese, Indians (Subcontinental and American) and the Polar Bears?

Exactly.
I don't believe Ryan & Pitman are correct. The whole world was flooded and it was sudden (40 days and 40 nights).
It is foolish to try to prove God wrong.

If God wrote the Noah story,Moses wrote the Noah story. God inspired it.

The world as known to these people. Their horizons did not include much more than probably a few days travel from home. On foot or horseback so the distances were not great.

If God wrote the Noah story, and it was only about the Black Sea, why did he say that the whole world was flooded? This is not the same flood. The writers assume that the Biblical account was based on an ancient flood, a black sea flood. The new evidence suggests that the black sea was never flooded. It has nothing to do with the Bible's account.
