Interesting knives. Better still, though, are what the Gurkhas carry around. They are especially made and shaped to slit throats. There was a photo of them here on FR several months ago. I have a copy of the photo, but don't know how to paste it.

I love the Ghurka Kukris, and think they are the best knives anywhere in the planet! Hands down! And i managed to get one that is over a century old, and it is still as dazzling as ever! And what i love about it is that the sheath can also be used as a weapon (it is encapsulated with metal, with an extremely sharp point) and the handle has two grooves with two small knives!
