Was the chewed up dog bed ever tested to verify it was in fact chewed up by the dog and not destroyed by any other method?...to cover up something that may have been on the dog bed from the MB?

Beverly Askey says she saw Westerfield's motor home arrive at Silver Strand State Beach sometime before 10 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Teresa Hastings was also camping at the beach that Saturday. She testifies that she saw Westerfield's motor home and noticed that it appeared to be closed up. He only came out, she says, when the ranger came by and knocked on his door.
