Sorry if I sounded critical of your work. I didn't mean it that way. It's just that I don't have any confidence in CTV or Mapquest. I have a question on the timeline tho....You have Ramona (Barbaras house)....is the mileage reflective of Ramona or her house??...we don't know he went to her house so I'm assuming the () info is just for speculative purposes?

Did BVD have any cuts on her arms or hands.

The placement of the blood spots on the jacket, make me think of someone either slow dancing or hugging....lapel, shoulder, outside back of collar.

Yes, in fact that would probably be her old house, she now lives in Tierrasanta close to Denise. Could still have been in Ramona? Empty house there?

The biggest problem with the timeline right now is DW couldn't have made to the Coronado by 7:15or even 8pm if he left Borrego at 6pm. Its about 90 miles, or 3 hours (back roads). Do we know what time he was dugout from Gomer?

He had to have come the north route 78, or he wouldn't have picked up the cell phone tower in Mira Mar at 7:33.

He would have been driving very close to his home about 7pm. Has anyone claimed to have seen him Sunday night in the neighborhood?

No, there is no proof (that I'm aware of, of course), one way or the other where Barbara was on the evening of the 2d. She hasn't ever testified in court and I doubt she ever will.

Good question. I don't remember hearing anybody mention that yet. According to Holly, he wasn't wearing it on Saturday morning when he went to get the MH. She said he had on a white shirt and a baseball cap. I think if he was wearing a jacket of any kind she would have said so.

I had not thought of that. I had first thought it was only on the lapel. To me, the lapel and shoulder would be easier to explain than the back of the collar. Maybe it was from dancing ...

Yes, he had to drive right thru Ramona to take the route he said he did. I do not know if he stopped. All I know is that Barbara has or had a house there. Her phone number in the internet white pages is in Ramona.

Now, I'm confused. I thought it was Denise that moved away since February; not Barbara. Tierrasanta is where both of them lived 2/1, -- next door to each other -- and Denise has now moved to the East coast...?

I've just reread the prosecution's opening statement and have a question or two.

Duschek(sp?) stated that when BVD, Barbara, and Denise arrived at the VDs they noticed that the alarm was indicating that the side door (that Denise had left open) was open. It was then closed and the alarm did not indicate that a door or window was open. The girls went upstairs, the guys, R and K, remained downstairs. Shortly thereafter, everyone left. BVD made a "run through the kid's bedrooms" and closed each of the doors. DVD said he had left the doors partially open. I can't believe she didn't look in Danielle's room as she was shutting the partially open door. Danielle's bed is just about the first thing you see as you open the door, and she certainly would have noticed that she wasn't in her bed.

On the way to bed did BVD glance at the alarm gizmo? Pros said that DVD woke up at about 3AM and noticed that the alarm light was indicating that the sliding door was open and the dog was restless.

Who opened the sliding door if DVD was telling the truth? Rich and Keith were the only ones downstairs while the rest were upstairs in MB. I don't remember where Denise was.

Also, why did DVD change his plans for the weekend? He was supposed to go snowboarding with the eldest son.

I've thought of something similar. Remember Danielle's window was open. May be she saw that nice man outside smiling at her and she hopped down the stairs voluntarily.

The sliding door was supposedly left open by the perp...or was it the garage door that was supposed to have been left open by the perp??..they give us two choices.

Denise was in the kitchen or she was upstairs or she was closing the garage door...depends on whom you ask and when.

DVD's trip was called off cuz Bill Libby had a change in plans..haven't heard from him yet so not many details, besides DVD.

Good questions about when he wore the jacket and where it was usually kept. I am confused about the dancing comments, though. The blood is Danielle's,not Brenda's. I won't be back until tomorrow morning....(the blood placement would be consistant with him carrying her)

"Now" meant 2/2 (or the date of the opening statement), I don't know if Denise ever left or not.

"858-679-####" is the only clue we got about who DW was calling 2/2. Those numbers are around Poway, CA. Who could DW have been calling?

According to Duscek, the garage door was opened by Denise and was shut shortly after the gang arrived at the VDs (2AM?). I haven't read Denise's testimony yet. The sliding door had to have been opened between 2:30AM when they left and 3AM when DVD woke up because the dog was whimpering, unless Rich or Keith did it before they left. Why didn't anyone hear the alarm? Damon wouldn't have fallen into a deep sleep in that short a period of time.

Based on the above, I don't believe that Danielle was in the house when they returned, and I don't believe that the sliding door was left open that night.
