They consider him one of the greatest of God's messengers to mankind. A Muslim never refers to him simply as 'Jesus', but always adds the phrase 'upon him be peace' (abbreviated as (u) here). The Quran confirms his virgin birth

No wonder Muslims are so confused! They claim “Allah” does not have a son, i.e Jesus, but then claim Jesus was “one of the greatest of God’s messengers”.

Jesus said, “No one comes to the Father but through me.” Jesus said HE WAS the Son of God. Jesus was a Jew. If a Muslim converts to Judism or Christianity, they get a death sentence. So much for revering Jesus, the religion he came from and the religion he started.

Are all Muslims this utterly confused??!!

They claim the Bible is a perverted, and that Jesus really didn't say all of those things. They also claim the Jewish holy texts were altered.

It's not cognitive dissonance, it's just wacky conspiracy theories (which might be why they're so succeceptible to stupid conspiracy theories now)
