Every religion has it's good and bad points, and I'd offer that the older the religion the more confusing. Some of the most rude, uncouth, discourteous, vulgar, foul, ugly religous arguments I've seen were Christians arguing about the King James Bible.

There's a sense of proportionality lacking here. I haven't seen any of those obnoxious people threatening to blow up buildings or denying the right of an entire race of people to exist.

Spiritual equals but relegated to praying in the basement. The men get a bunch of virgins in paradise and the women???? The men can go around raping women and the women get the death penalty. A peaceful religion, where the victim gets the death penalty.

It just seems to pretty much suck, doesn't it?

No.  Islam has serious flaws which are not shared by the other living religions.

The only approachable form of Islam I've ever encountered is Sufism, which is so far divorced from the fundamental errors of Islam as to almost be unrecognizable.
