The "Russian Death video" was equally appalling. The Chechins/Muslims lost the support of millions by bragging about it and displaying it proudly on Muslim websites. You cannot negotiate with an enemy like this. The only rule of law they understand/respect is rule .308.
I thought the Russian death video was MUCH worse. In it , the soldier is obviously still alive when they take his head off with a butcher knife. It haunts me still. In the Pearl video, it appears he is already dead when the 2 or 3 seconds of head removal are shown. Make no mistake, an enemy that would do this would do it to your wife and children as well if given the opportunity.
