First of all I am the least likley person to get my science from the Bible. Secondly, I am certain that the Germans paid for their newspapers under Hitler and those newspapers were full of propaganda. That is the real underlying strength of socialism. Yes I pay for Nick elodeon and appreciate their capitilistic ways. That is exactly why I am gald to see someone bring to my attention that a cable news show is trying to indoctranate my children. I will use my powers as a consumer to tell them what I think. Let the market place show how many people really embrace this kind of info getting out to young kids. BTW ... HOW MANY CHILDREN DO YOU HAVE?

Typical liberal who won't answer the question because you are afraid the answer won't look so good.

All of the parents I know find these attempts by the gay community abusive. I am sure your gay community, without kids of their own , thinks otherwise. I have no problem with you or other Gay people doing as they will I don't care if you want to have that lifestyle... just shut up about it. I will tell my children what they need to know. And if in fact homosexuality is in the genes for them, then they would not have needed to hear from a tv news program how to feel about it.

Why are you people so obbsessed with our children. why don't you try having some of your own. Oh that's right ... it takes a man and a woman to do that. It seems you homosexuals are not such experts on children after all. You can't even figure out where they come from. Talk about vodo science.

If you do take your science from scientists, I would be interested in a reference to just one study that supports your "inborn gender preference" statement. I would prefer a recent study, not one of the older ones that have either been disproved or unable to duplicate.

I'll make it easy for you: There are none. If genetics played a role, the gay community would not have to resort to recruitment in order to perpetuate. Ask Anne Heche if her sexual preference was genetic or a lifestyle choice.

Maybe there is some type misunderstanding so I will explain in terms I hope you will understand before you have a knee jerk reaction.

I do not suggest that people not watch this show, even though it is directed to a much younger generation. This is one reason that I object to the content of this segment of the show. If the parents of these young children permit them to watch, it's no problem for me.

I would suggest that the supposed intolerance that you accuse me of is more suited to the people who want other people to accept their life style, and if not then they are accused of being intolerant. Weather Jerry Falwell is on this program or not makes no difference, although I don't think he is there to support the life styles in question.

There are many "Religious" show that I would not watch for reasons that may surprize you. Does that make me intolerant of religious shows?

If people want to support these different life styles, thats their business. I would'nt accuse them of being intolerant because their views are different than mine.

I suppose that the part that is strange, to me, is why a show directed to young children is selected as a launch pad for this type program?

Objecting to and stating so is my purpose and to that I am guilty, being accused of being intolerant is intorerance at it's worst.

Although your answer was short and direct, it really did'nt say anything. Kind of like the ignorant babble I am accused of irking you with.

For a more detailed account of my feelings please see post #23. If this post is to difficult for you to understand, then I suppose I'll just have to live with your limited ability to understand, or is it your intolerance of my views. If so it's your loss, not mine.

Whatever, hope you have a great day but you really need to take a deep breath and relax.

Nickleodeon is supposed to be "kid friendly," but is proving that parents must exercise constant vigilance in monitoring and banning networks that offer sleazy indoctrination to homosexuals and their disgusting households.

Parents should always exercise vigilance in being aware of what their kids are doing. Merely planting them in front of a television set isn't very responsible. So if you have kids and you don't think that this material would do them any good, then turn the darned thing off!

Most people don't have a choice about Nickelodeon as it is bundled with basic cable. The only choice you have is to have cable or not have cable. Also the notion that homosexuals are born that way is absurd. The bottom line difference between homosexuals and hetrosexuals is the way and with whom they achive sexual gratification. To explain homosexuality with the claim that they are born that way is sliding down a slipery slope. If it can be said that homosexuals just like to have sex with people of their own gender and they're born that way, How far are we from saying that paedophiles just like to get it on with children and they're born that way. Those studies and that claim(born that way) is absolute nonsense.

That is not the only choice. Little kids shouldn't watch some graphic violence that might be aired on the news, either. I personally don't have a problem with this, but if you do, there is another alternative: IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR KIDS TO WATCH IT, TURN IT OFF.

I couldn't agree more. It is the parents responsebility to know what their children are watching. My point was that nickelodeon is not available on it's own so people don't directly subscribe to it, as was suggested in an earlier post. I do however think that there ought to be some safe havens for kids and parents on the tv landscape.

How about the National Geographic channel? The Discovery Channel? The History Channel? PBS?

mostly yes, though they address issues of violence and such as well. Also those channels don't potray themselves as strictly for kids as they do show documentaries about trasgendered people and forensic pathology. Bottom line is that Parents are the end all be all when it comes to viewing and that you and I agree on that! :-)

I didn't stay away from Nickelodeous, since our children have flown the nest, and watched as pasty-faced Rozie O'Donnel smirked and frowned during the repulsive, meaningless presentation.

A homosexual elementary school principal, a firefighter who deserted his family for anus worship, a gaggle of kids (one who surely has confusion about his/her gender thanks to having two mommies) and, of course, the ever gushing Linda Ellerbee.

Most of the kids came from same sex parent "families," three were clearly aware that homsexual activity is wrong and said that although they wouldn't stomp them to death, homosexual activity is sinful and against God's word and plan.

This vapid piece of homosexual propaganda had no place on Nickleodeous where kids are exposed to this pap as well as an insidious agenda advanced through disgusting day and nightime cartoons.
