I can't remember the article, but I read somewhere today that several family members had been polygraphed. The police are holding their cards close to their chest in this one, that is for sure.

that gives me some comfort--the FAMILY seems to be playing it very close to the vest too--they just don't seem to be as upset, on the whole, as I would expect them to be if they didn't KNOW that Elizabeth is O.K. They may not know where she is but they seem unnaturally sure that she is O.K.

That just what this is, a very high stakes game of poker between the police and the perp, complete with disinformation, withheld information and other forms of bluffing. I bet the perp doesn't know for sure if they are onto him or not, and that is good.
