I think the only reason that the White House doesn't get the message out is they want to reserve the right to say that it was the FERC power caps which did it.

I have heard that professors at the various Cali universities have been told if they leak this reality that the recession solved the power crisis, that their careers are over.
There is nothing going on out here re this data. There was some data that came out UC Berkley from a young woman professor early last year. Lately it is like a black hole swallowed this reality.

The power crisis in California has (predictibly) morphed into a budget crisis. The fiscal year ends in California in two weeks, and the Davis should hit the fan big time.
