That's a lie, their one day of summer is mild not cold. It at least gets up to 62.

Washington does have hot areas in the eastern part of the state. 100 degree days are common in those areas. That is like the east central part of Oregon, Bend and east. I have seen 100 degree days in those areas while trying to fish. Fortunately the water is all ways cold so you just wade a little deeper and stay in the river longer under a big brimmed hat and a lot of sun blocker.

I figured the picture of the Blue Heron came from the NW.

my friend Lily has been living in Tucson 40 years
she grew up in Coney Island (NYC)
when I moved to Tucson 11 years ago, she went up to Olympia to spend August with her son
when she returned to Tucson she said ''I froze my a$$ off''
I couldn't picture what she meant
till westmex started reportin' the weather there (he lives in Kent near Olympia)
do you know this whole past month has been in the 40s (till 2 days ago)
westy had his heat on and windows closed
that is not summer!!!
