And if you really want to get your feelings hurt, ask a kid how old you look. But don't do it if you're the sensitive type.
Thats for sure!! Just recently our 6 year old grandson (who is extremely intelligent for his age :o) was over. He asked Grandpa "how many years are you?".. to which Grandpa said "I am 55 years".
He said "Wow, thats a LOT of years Grandpa, Thats a LOT LOT LOT of years".
Later that day as our little guy and Grandma were at a store buying his Daddy a birthday card for later in the week, a store clerk asked him if the card was for his Daddy. The little guy said "yeah, he is going to be 32".
I said "What did you say earlier today when you heard Grandpa's age?".. and he said "That 55 is a LOT of numbers, and really old". I said "Well, Grandma is 51, and I don't feel like that is so old".. to which he replied "It is Grandma.. it REALLY is!!!"
Needless to say.. all the clerks were in stitches. :o)
So you're right.. be prepared for the TRUTH when it comes to dealing with children. LOL
