He quit exposing us to his music.
;-)
Qureshi said he avoided discussing religion with Padilla because of workplace ethics and Taco Bell policies.
That sounds like an Onion piece...but as true as it is,me thinks Qureshi runs around with cucka on his nose.

Yo quiero jihad. (Sorry someone had to say it.)
With Padilla's rap sheet he shouldn't haven been walking the street. Just another tribute to our revolving door justice system.

Maybe, but have you heard some of Ali's statements? Not sure he'd qualify as a man of peace - 'humanitarian,' maybe, in some ways.

Same goes for Cat Stevens as for Ali, they have both made some pretty 'provocative' statements about the west in general and the U.S. in particular. I've seen no public challenge for literal jihad against us, but it wouldn't take much to construe some of their statements as promoting the jihadists thought process.

He quit exposing us to his music. you've got to be either tone-deaf or kidding.

Padilla told him he had accepted Islam at a mosque and had taken the Muslim name Ibrahim. When Qureshi would slip and call him José, Padilla would always correct him.
Evidence Padilla converted before he left the Taco Bell job around Dec. '93, and not in '95, as today's Washington Post would have us believe.

Actually, towards the end of his life, Malcom X was more a pacifist, and agreed more with Martin Luther King, which is why he was killed. He ceased to be the violent revolutionary, and became more in line with what MLK advocated. If you read the biography of the man, or even watch the movie it's more than clear, that he wasn't a violent revolutionary at his death. However, the rest of your list is dead on accurate.
Malcolm X was a violent revolutionary when he got out of Prison, and stayed violent, until he went to Mecca. That was the turning point in his life. Which soon became the end. The Black leadership that has merit is subverted and replaced by the scumbags we see today. Had MLK or Malcolm X lived, the relations between races might have been different. Of course we got stuck with Sharpton, Farrakhan, Jackson, and various other pathological liars who demand a hand out, instead of becoming citizens.
Islam is like any other religion, in it's interpretation it becomes good or evil. Right now, there's a lot of evil people out there running things on all sides, for many reasons. None of these reasons are good for anyone involved. I do not support any religion who lies to it's people, and demands that they commit suicide in order to change the world. If that were the way it worked in the world, the leaders would be the first to commit suicide, and lead by example, rather than send 10 year old kids to camps to learn how to properly do it.
This so called Al Quaeda moron, has been a bad person for a long time. Someone got to him, trained him, nurtured his hate, and kept him fed and clothed while he received this training. Is that what Al Quaeda does? Brainwash those who would willingly believe the lie? What is so attractive about commiting suicide? Are these people depressed enough to do something like this just to get attention? What kind of disease has permeated the religion of peace? Good God, I can't believe what I'm reading about all of the people who are joining up against America. These people are so disillusioned that they apparently are willing to not only forfeit their lives, but the lives of innocent people, because some foreigner with a lot of money says it's the right thing to do? Last time I checked, they called that a CULT!
Pass the koolaid, and take a big drink. Remember kids to pack your explosives tight against you, because you won't feel a thing if your belts tight. I could puke, this is a disgusting world we live in.

José Padilla?s conversion to Islam could have helped him leave behind a life of violence and thuggery that saw him in and out of jails.
This is unbelievable, since by its very definition islam directs its adherants to submit and to be violent thugs.

by its very definition islam directs its adherants to submit and to be violent thugsH. Rap Brown is proof of that -- but of course, the Sun Sentinel is so000000 multiculturally sensitive. Last Sunday's front page story was about the poor, oppressed Palestinians, which was par for the course.

I agree with your view on Malcolm X. As a required read by an Afro-Centric college professor of mine, I read the Autobiography of Malcolm X. My view of him changed during the course of my reading. I wound up having a respectful view of him when I finished the book.
Perhaps I may have been mistaken by adding Malcolm X to my list, but the fact remains that Malcolm X was a raging racist and hater of the West after his converting to Islam.
