It's sort of what we've heard all along - that DW said to the det. that he thought Damon was supposed to be out of town - except that when Keene described it he threw in the..."instead of home with the kids" part. Could be nothing - but I was just thinking - at that time - would he have known that Damon really was home with the kids that night? I mean - the first part could be easily dismissed - "Oh - I thought Brenda said that her husband was out of town that night" ...but...it's the addition of "...instead of home with the kids" that is bugging me. For him to have known that Damon was home that night - he either had to hear it from Mark - something like - "That little Van Dam girl is missing - it's scary - they say that her dad was there all night and her mom got home about two - but that no one heard anything - and she's just gone." (You get the idea.) - or - he knows Damon was home for some other more sinister reason - like being in the house and seeing him there. Did the folks in the neighborhood know those details early on - by the time DW talked to Mark on Sat.?
