I think the part about it "meaning nothing" may mean that different people sweat differently. Simple as that. I have a friend, who's overweight, who sweats like crazy. All of us would be walking together, and no one is really perspiring (at least not noticeably). You look at my friend, and he looks like he fell into a pool. His hair is dripping wet, and you'd think he did a marathon. And even if he doesn't look like that, if you shake his hand, it's permanently sweaty. ick.
