When Westerfield returned home the next morning, Keene and Parga questioned him on his sidewalk. Both officers said the winter morning was cold. Keene estimated it was 50 degrees and Parga said she was shaking under her coat and jeans. But Westerfield perspired heavily, both said, although he was wearing only a cotton shirt.

If it's at least 32 degrees outside, you would likely find me wearing shorts, and perspiring. Westerfield is a big guy and Parga is a woman. Her shaking under her coat and jeans while Westerfield was perspiring, assuming Parga isn't lying, means nothing.

How would you know it "means nothing". Are you a sweat expert?
