"I noticed that he was sweating profusely from under his arms," San Diego police Detective Johnny Keene (pictured, right) testified in the trial of David Westerfield.
Keene described the interview on Westerfield's front porch, two doors from the van Dam home, on a cool Monday morning in early February.

If I recall this officers testimony correctly he also attributed his own attire of a shirt and a jacket to the "coolness of the morning." Then when asked why he moved DW and their conversation to DW's front porch did he or did he not almost say that it was getting too warm to be standing in the sunlight of the front yard? Just an observation, he makes a good recovery to back up the senario he's already drawn.
Another thing, isn't this when DW comes home and has to park down the street from his house? He dosen't look like he's used to much excercise how far was that walk? Half a block? More maybe?

I also heard that...had to move to the porch for shade or something??

At this point, DW was back from camping so it is not the time he came back for his wallet..3:30 on 2/2 was when he had to walk...this was 2/4, I believe.
