I don't know a lot about Saddam, but I wonder about all of this. For one, he isn't a muslim is he? Iraq isn't a muslim regime. Are they really linked to all this stuff going on? It seems to me just as a casual newsreader that the Saudi connection is much clearer and stronger than any "potential" Iraqi connection. And yet, we go along with the Saudis.

I think a case could be made that we pretty well know what the Saudi government is up to. We have both military and private industry knowledge about any potential Saudi WMD planning or acquisition. The Saudi government is a cash cow to many terrorist organizations but that is about the extent of their direct involvement. I don't believe we are ignoring the threat but when it comes to direct military action the priority is on those countries that have demonstrated a willingness AND a capability to produce WMD for terrorist use. Iraq, is the poster boy for that criteria.
