mohammed azmath vs. JD2 vs. padilla

Good match. My opinion. (Which is under tremendous fire of late)

While I must admit Padilla looked like a dead ringer at first, now that you've posted Azmath's photo I'm not sure. Azmath looks like a better match because of the nose. Padilla is closer on the eyes, but Azmath's eyes also are in the ballpark. I'd be interested in hearing if in the desriptions people were particular about the nose in the description or if the artist was just lousy at noses. I think the former since it looks like the photo was made up from letting people pick and assemble predrawn face parts. If the nose of the person seen was what people remembered most, then I'd go with Azmath being the one.

Of course, I wonder if Padilla's ever had surgery- alot of al Qeada's guys have, though maybe not low level players. For a gang-banger he has an incredibly straight nose. Usually anyone with even a minor dustup or two in the past has an off-center nose or one with a crook in it from being broken. For that matter, how many of al-qeada's people just brought along for 'muscle' have straight noses? The ones I've seen in the mugshots looked rather rough. This guy is awfully free of scarring or scuffing to just be 'muscle.'

Has anyone got a side view photo of Azmuth to compare with the OKC drawing with the baseball hat? I don't think Azmath fits the side view drawing others have posted. His face is too long and the nose I don't think would be a match for the drawing. But then, I don't think the two OKC drawings, the front and side view, really look like the same guy in the first place.

The only thing I am certain of is that John Doe II will never be arrested and charged with a crime of any kind. So anyone arrested and charged by the federal government for anything should be eliminated from the JD2 list of possibilities, IMHO.
