I dont really miss the big cities either...my hubby returns to Chicago every year at Memorial Day for two weeks, for his Annual Memorial Day Picnic with his buddies, and every year he asks if I am coming...Every year I say no...I prefer to remain here in my little area, and have no desire at all to go back to Chicago
I have been gone from Chicago for almost 24 yrs now, and have gone back only once, when my brother died....
I love small towns, off the interstates, and off the main roads...those little towns have such a grand character to me...
