I hope the Feds traced THAT call.

And I should believe everything a talk show caller claims because?

I pointed out that there are probably 100 cells still in existence here. That gives ~1000 persons in the cells (a high estimate, but stay with me). These persons depend on an active support network of perhaps ~10,000. Another 100,000 know and say nothing.

They still use 1-800-TELLFOX right?
I just called it with my number blocked, to see if they will accept the call, C-SPAN doesn't. I got an ATT message that the line is being tested for trouble, hmmmm.....
To: RandallFlagg
I was watching that too...I actually left my desk to look at the screen because I believe a trace was on indeed. They never keep a caller on longer than the max of 15-30 seconds and he was on easily for 60-90. Said he knew plenty of people since 1993 who have joined up to destroy this country. Freedom is an illusion etc...

Was it Ramsay Clark, perchance?
To: RandallFlagg
I heard it!
Sounded like Ted Kennedy to me.

Most radio talk shows have tracing equipment to keep track of the occasional loon making threats. One host I talked to in private told me the phone companies "block" can be by-passed by their device.
I imagine TV call-ins are similiarly geared.

There is nothing new under the sun.
Recall all the people during the Cold War unwilling to turn in their communist friends (eg the Rosenbergs, Blunt), because that would be McCarthyism and the phrase "I would rather betray my country than my friends."
This case is more likely to be a crank.
To: My Favorite Headache

I was hoping the same thing. They kept him on and traced the call. Hopefully, he was calling from home, and he'll be relatively easy to trace.
Look for the FBI to be interviewing this gentleman for some time to come.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

Some leftie stirring the pot. Highly suspect a bona fide nutjob in the "base" of Democrats.

Thanks for the post for us cubicle bound.
If this guy was telling the truth or lying either way he should be in slammer.

IMHO, That guy was a fake. As a matter of fact right now he might have a 13.5 M size boot up his buttocks for making up stories. No one is that stupid to call a TV show knowing that they will be found quickly.

I was watching too....I thought Linda Vester should have kept him on the line a little longer....was there enough time to trace the call?

And I should believe everything a talk show caller claims because?Even if they're just full of crap it sounds like a good reason to throw them a blanket party.

Just guessing, but probably a Gore voter who frequents DU & bartflop. More than likely just a liberal having anti-American wet dreams.
To: McGruff
Exactly! Even if the prick is faking it to get attention, he should pay the price of a looooooooooong microscope up his butt!

No one is that stupid to call a TV show knowing that they will be found quickly. I dunno. Richard Reid was so stupid, he tried to light his shoe bomb with a match in full view of passengers, when he could have gone to the lavatory.
