Well - I have no problem with the fact that he was caught last month and there was no announcement. We really don't need to be giving these lunatics any clues as to how we can track and/or catch them. However, releasing the info now appears to be a "play" to let us all know what a fine job our fearless leaders are doing. Hmmm. Why in the world does Ashcroft need a hookup from Moscow to release month-old news?

That is curious, unless the timing is because 1) they had to in order to prevent the subject from having to be released, or 2) the timing is because the transfer to DoD of the subject would have forced the information out into the open anyway, so when the decision to do that was made, then the announcement had to be made.
