A friend of mine from law school clerked for Judge Ellis, who is handling one of the cases (the Walker case, I think.) Ellis is a real straight arrow.

That's good to hear. If I remember correctly, the 4th Circuit also has a lot BS tolerance. I don't see either of these guys' attorneys getting what they want. This is good news for our guys, although we may want to be a bit more free with the military commissions for anything involving guys we might grab who would be involved in attacks.
