I wonder if he was affiliated with the El Rukn gang that Noah Robinson, Jesse Jackson's step brother, was the leader ????

They got one guy? He was going to do this all by himself? Let's hope he's been doing a lot of talking in the month or so since they picked him up.

You've got that right...especially since the winds have been out of the southeast lately. Have you heard "where" the bomb was to be exploded?I haven't heard anything....there's supposed to be a press conference shortly.
All I know is that the first thing I said was most unprintable, but it did relate to our state's history of dairy farming--with my eyes quite wide.
And Green Bay's winds are out of the south at 12 mph. GULP.

? How do you not know the coeffs but know it's 2nd order? Nevermind. It's not relevant.
Yes it is. For example-- y"-3y'-4y = 3exp(2t) + 2sin(t) - 8exp(t)cos(2t)

Sounds like propaganda to me. Anyone else think the AG has created this story to generate positive FBI & CIA news?

Yeah, it'd make me feel better, for sure. What with Arafat squawking about "big explosions" and that Al Quada dude sending out warnings this week, ain't a good feelin, I got.

The official said Mujahir is a former Chicago street gang member who served time in prison in the 1990s, converted to Islam and met with al-Qaeda leader in 2001 before returning to the United States Oh, this is just great news.I don't know, sounds like an opportunity to clean up Chicago to me.
If we could get the goods on McKinney we could clean up the Democrat party while we're at it.

That's a very good point. And there's no reason why a blonde-haired blue-eyed person couldn't have gone over to the dark side, either. And lets not forget those caucasian looking old ladies.
To: Miss Marple
Ashcroft said Al Mujahir, also known as Jose Padilla, was arrested May 8 as he flew from Pakistan into Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
Arrested May 8 and not a word out in the media until announced by AG Ashcroft today... Tighter ship than we've had in the recent past....

He may have been recruited in prison. His initial interest might have been to avoid the consequences of dropping the soap in the shower. Islam actively recruits in prison; not unlike the Nazis in the Weimar Republic.

Uh see history of Spain, invasion by Moors in 8th century... "Those who never learn history are bound to repeat it" or something like that...

I am surprised folks have not given the Arafat comment about big explosion more weight. I dont know what you are talking about. It was pretty clear to me that Arafat was talking about an explosion of anger and violence in the arab world, particularly the west bank and gaza. I didnt see it as a reference to a bomb or bombing. I think you are reading into his comments something to use as a reference for your own paranoia.

I certainly hope the FBI/CIA/NSA is keeping a very close eye on the Nation of Islam led by Farahkhan.

One report says the target was Washington D.C.Man, that's too close to my home. I'm live in a suburb in Maryland, only a couple of miles away from D.C.
To: Catspaw
As detailed in Timmerman's Shakedown, Jeff Fort's P Street Rangers developed into an Islamic group called El Rukn, and were used as enforcers by Jesse Jackson and his associates.

Johnny Taliban does have a new buddy. I wonder how long it will be before the traitorous red commie leftists like Stanley Cohen and Ron Kuby start defending him?

said the intelligence that led to Mujahir's arrest came from captured al Qaida leader Abu Zabaydah during recent interrogations. It just occurred to me that this guy was a patsy, Oswald style.
Zabaydah gave up a cipher perhaps to take us off track from the real operation.
