its not a genetic mutation, it is not born trait, it is a choice, and there is over whelming evidence of this. Politically incorrect as it may be, there is one of 2 conservative schools, either it is a mental illness, or it is a choice. SInce man gay men have become straight through therapy and other methods, I believe it is a choice.

Non-lethal mutations are not common, and certainly not commonly recurring.

While not in itself lethal, a gay gene would compel an organism to sex acts that would make reproduction unlikely, and passing along the gene throughout the eons highly improbable.
