Why should a foreigner be like us? They're coming here for an education, not citizenship. Do you think our students that study abroad should have to learn to act like a native of that country? Most of the foreigners I know on campus like America. Most of their comments after 9-11 were more sympathetic to our country than Jerry Falwell and company's. What is with you? Someone tells you that someone is anti-American and you automatically accept it? You think everyone that goes to college is anti-American and that all foreigners in our colleges hate America because a few a$$holes burn flags and call for a Jihad?
It doesn't sound like the foreigners like the US as much as you think. The Middle Eastern foreigners don't tend to join in pro-American demonstrations much on campus, even back in Carter's presidency, middle-easterners from Iran were famous for burning the US flag in their anti-American demonstrations here on US campuses.
