If it is true that male and female behavioral characteristics are hormonally influenced early in life . . . Then hormonal influence would covereth a multitude of sins including pedophilia. Soon we would be chasing the "early homrmonal influence" responsible for bestiality and necrophilia too. You would soon be forbidden by the liberal democrat-pro-sodomy alliance to detest or express disgust for any sexual perversion.
The true homophobes are the dipwads who reduce a man or woman to the sum of his or her sexual drives and enable and encourage that person in their destructive behavior. In short, no one is more of a homophobe than you or any of your leftist pals.

And regardless of the cost...men still enjoy paying the price!

If it is true that male and female behavioral characteristics are hormonally influenced early in life, it also gets harder for the religious homo-hating crowd to keep claiming that homosexuality is a choice. I think many male and female behavioral characteristics are emotionally influenced early in life ---and that homosexuality still wouldn't be a choice. A little boy being raised to believe his male traits are bad doesn't really have a choice.

And regardless of the cost...men still enjoy paying the price! Absolutely! Washing machines and dryers, when men wouldn't wash their cloths at all, or maybe just swin in them. Deoderant, bras, dishwashers, cosmetics, plastics, furniture, prophylactics, silverware, china, stoves, hairdryers, wallpaper, carpet, vinyl sideing, unbrellas, fingernail polish, towels and washcloths, comodes, matresses, clothes hangers, curtains blinds, coffee tables, hot water heaters, high heel shoes, girdles, hair spray, shampoo and conditioner, telephones, television, radios, tampons, tampex, douche, silicon implants, chickflicks, IUDs, birth control pills, spermacidal jelly, toilet paper, bandaids, hair color, viagra, et endless certera, and all the schools, skill, tools and machines to make it all.
All this to stay out of divorce court (and, by the way, divorce court, too) and it hasn't worked.

"DOREEN KIMURA studies the neural and hormonal basis of human intellectual functions. She is visiting professor in psychology at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada."she's a guy (fellow)?
I know, I know. It just looked funny.
BTW, good catch. Thanks for posting.

Who says engineers aren't sexy?

Very few here hate homos, just hate their insistance that everyones life revolves around the fact they like to have sex with other males. Of course we were told it was all genetics. Now we are told it is all hormonal. The fact is there are many influences, but it is still a choice.

Thanks for the ping. It's always pleasant to see scientific corroboration for something we've known all along.
Interestingly, I recall a recent thread on the subject of race, involving the same kind of statistics, but reaching the opposite conclusion -- that there are no races, because notwithstanding the observed differences, there are also wide disparities within each group. Funny what you can do with statistics.

it also gets harder for the religious homo-hating crowd to keep claiming that homosexuality is a choice. It has been my experience that most RELIGIOUS people do not hate homosexuals; they hate the sin of homosexuality. An individual DOES make a choice to either practice homosexuality or NOT practice it.

Evidence accumulated more recently, however, suggests that the effects of sex hormones on brain organization occur so early in life that from the start the environment is acting on differently wired brains in boys and girls.
"More recently." Ha ha ha. I was reading about this for well over a decade. Oh, I see, it's in Scientific American. The popular media are always way behind the curve.
The whole thing calls to mind, though, that people over a hundred years ago were referring to men and women as different species. Certainly the differences between genders of the same species are far greater than many of the differences between closely-related species.

This will set the feminazi movement back decades. Ha Ha.

Oh, so homosexuality is really a "biological error" as Dr. Laura stated some time ago.

Who says engineers aren't sexy? It's not the engineer that's sexy; it'a what the engineer does that's sexy.

Actually, I think that differences between men and women were apparent before the first book was every written. I wouldn't be too hard on the author. She did present information from more recent studies. It was interesting the way she put it though.

A man is what a man does. Yes, a man that hoes cotton is a hore.
